When schools closed, indefinitely, 6 weeks ago I thought I would go nuts.  "How do I manage 4 kids at home and still get stuff done?  How long until things get back to normal?  Wow, I can't get my eyebrows done?!!!"  These were my feelings on day ONE of the social distancing quarantine order.

And things did start off as bad as I imagined.  Kids asking for snacks every 15 minutes.  The online school having non-stop tech glitches.  My inability to social distance myself from the refrigerator.  Everyone going to bed super late.  Me having no alone time at all!   Missing friends and family.  

Does any of this resonate with you?

Everyone-at-home-at-the-same-time-ALL-the-time was getting to be too much.  And then  I DECIDED that it's time to UPGRADE.  Consciously, I started to make changes in our household.  Changes to create structure, some order, some sense of peace, connection, and achievement.  And things improved!!!  I implemented 20 practical upgrades that made a difference!

Are things perfect now?  NO!
Do I still want a break from the kids, to get my eyebrows done, and to travel to a beautiful island and to sip on sangrias by the beach?  Yes!  (I need a vacation).

But until then, I'm really happy about the improvements we made in our current day-to-day.  And I want to share them with you!
